Auditions for NOVARTS BALLET are open year-round.
Before submitting an application, please ensure that you are at least 18 years of age, have carefully reviewed our ABOUT page, and are familiar with the structure of NOVARTS BALLET.

 

To ensure the correct processing of your application, please make sure that

​

a) the body of your email contains the following:

• a clear indication of whether you are applying as a Guest Artist* or for the Studio Company**
• full name and surname
• date of birth
• all nationalities and passports held
• height
• current employment, if applicable
• main schools, academies or training institutions attended (and Diplomas or professional qualifications obtained, if applicable)

b) the attachments to your email include

• Curriculum Vitae
• one or more portrait photographs
• one or more full-body photographs
• a video recording of class work filmed in the studio (barre, centre and jumps) of reasonable length
(female applicants are required to wear pointe shoes, although the barre section may be performed in flats)
• a classical repertoire variation filmed in the studio
• performance footage of your choice, where available

Where possible, all requested video material should be submitted through a single video link.

* At present, all Guest Artist positions have been filled.
Nevertheless, applications will be retained on file and may be considered in the event of cancellations or future opportunities.

Please note that Guest Artist positions are reserved for dancers who are already officially employed by established ballet companies.

 

** As outlined in the ABOUT section, participation in the Studio Company is unpaid and does not include a salary or performance fees.

However, unlike many other similar junior companies and pre-professional programs in Europe, Novarts Ballet does not charge any tuition or participation fees.
